Congratulations Katelyn!!!
It's hard to believe but, Katelyn graduated from Kindergarten! She is in the class of 2020! We really enjoyed the graduation. The kids sang and said verses. They did a great job! Kara was excited to celebrate with her cousin. Kara made Katelyn a graduation card and gave her a bouquet of roses.

A Visit To The Airport
We live in Middletown, where the Harrisburg Airport is located. We see planes fly over our house all the time. The kids (especially Joshua) just love it! I decided to take the kids on a trip to the airport to see the airplanes up close and personal
Kara is on the phone with Daddy telling him we are at the airport.Joshua isn't so sure about this moving walkway!

My Little Artist
Okay, Here's the pic you have all been waiting for! Here's the story behind the pic. We went to Larry & Lisa's for lunch one Sunday afternoon and I asked Lisa if I could borrow her pack n Play to lay Joshua down for a nap. Lisa suggested we try to put Joshy in Little Larry's bed and see how he did. We did that and checked on him a couple of times and saw that he was up walking around the room. We decided to just let him be since he was being quiet. Well, after a while Joshy came out and said "poopie, Mommy" He still had his diaper on so I went to investigate. Sure enough, somehow there was poopie on the floor in Katie and Kallee's room. While I was cleaning that mess up Lisa went to into Larry's room to start cleaning up the mess Joshy had made. When she closed the door to the room she noticed this beautiful artwork Joshy had left on the wall....Ugh! Lisa was very gracious about Joshua writing on her wall. We tried not to laugh in front of Joshy and Lisa had to take a pic. Thank goodness for the Magic Eraser!!! One more story about Joshua being an "Artist" As most of you know, I am a nurse and I work 2 nights a week. Well, after coming home from a night of work, I found Kara asleep on the couch with Dan in the family room. Normally Dan stays up on the couch with me until I'm ready to go to bed and we go to bed together (it takes a while to unwind after getting off work at 11:00 pm). However, on this particular night when I got home Dan brought Kara up to her bed and he then went to bed because he had to get up early the next morning. So I showered and made his lunch, as I always do, and ended my night in the family room watching TV. Well, at 2:00 am Dan comes down and says "what are you doing?" I said "I fell asleep" He then says "Joshua is up, come upstairs and see what he did" I go upstairs and see that Joshua had gotten into my Raisin colored lipstick and decided to write all over my bedroom wall and carpet with it. I'm sure Joshua woke up and came into our room and saw I wasn't there and tried to wake up Daddy...yeah right! Had I been up there I would've woken right up but, that wasn't the case that night. Anyway, we got Joshy back to sleep and I began to clean the lipstick off the wall (which luckily wiped right off easily) Dan said to me "Aren't you going to take a pic?" I said "It's 2:00 in the morning!" For the carpet I used a cleaning agent that my mom had gotten me when I graduated from nursing school 8 years ago call Apples For Life Stain Remover. It is designed to remove Betadine and Iodine stains that you might get in the hospital. Well, It does wonders on getting Raisin colored lipstick out of very light carpets! Thanks Mom, that was the best gift ever!!!
Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day!
We had a great day with family. We hosted Dan's parents and Larry & Lisa's family for an afternoon cook-out! The food was great and the kids had lots of fun playing together! I was very thankful to Dan, Dad & Larry for making my day by hanging shelves in my laundry room! I've been bugging Dan to hang shelves to give me extra space to put the kiddo's toys. Thanks guys...it's great!!!

Awana Awards Night
Kara had her last day of Awana this past Wednesday. She completed her 2 ND year as a Cubbie. Next fall she will move up to Sparks. Kara looked forward every week to Wednesday nights when she would go to Awana. Kara absolutely loved her Cubbies teacher Miss Jena. Thanks for all you did Jena!. Each Wed. night at Awana the kids participated in activities, from songs to Bible stories to snacks. At Awana Kara learned the Pledge of Allegiance to the American and Christian flags as well as many Bible verses. Here are some pics from the Awana closing ceremony.
