Bus Trip To NYC

Dan and I took a bus trip to New York City with Darryl and Heather. It was a beautiful day we enjoyed seeing Time Square, Central Park, Ground Zero, The Statue of Liberty and The Empire State building (from a distance). We had lunch at a street fair and dinner at the ESPN Zone. We are already planning our next trip!

Trip to Michigan

My mom, Kara, Joshua and I all took a road trip to Michigan to visit my sister Danielle, her hubby Josh and my adorable niece Annabelle.

We had a great time in Michigan. Kara and Joshy just loved spending time playing with Annie. The kids had a great time going to the park, riding bikes, riding in the car together, going out to eat, watching movies, and playing in Annie's play room. Kara enjoyed "mothering" Annabelle. She loved getting her dressed and doing her hair. Both kids got turns to sleep in Annabelle's princess canopy bed...they thought that was so cool. I enjoyed hearing Annie's cute voice calling me mommy...lol! One of the highlights of the trip was going to the library with Aunt DD and Annabelle. We even got to see the "Book Mobile", that is basically a traveling library...so cool! The kids time theme was "Daddies" They got to listen to stories, color a pic of a tie and sing songs. After that Kara and Joshy enjoyed exploring the library. Joshua enjoyed seeing a choo-choo train filled with stuffed animals all over the top shelves of the book cases. They also enjoyed playing with the puppet show stand. Annabelle enjoyed playing with the puzzles.

Thanks Danielle, Josh and Annabelle for having us. We had a great time and can't wait to visit again! PS: Thanks Granny for taking us to MI. We had fun spending time with you too!

K-5 Easter Party

Kara's class had an Easter Party. The kids made bracelets that told the story or Jesus, they had an Easter egg hunt and had lots of yummy snacks.

Grandparents' Day

Today at Kara's school it was Grandparents' Day. Grandpa & Grandma Locker spent the morning with Kara. They got to hear Kara sing with her class and have lunch with her. They even sponsored a book to be placed in the school library. The name of the book is "Where Did Bunny Go?" Kara enjoyed showing them around her classroom. She was just thrilled to have Grandpa & Grandma at her school!
