Kara had a great first day of school! We got up very early...6:20am and got her dressed, had breakfast, took pics and headed out the door to get the bus. She got right on the bus with no problems. To answer EVERY ONE'S question....NO, I did not cry. I did get a little bit chocked up when I called Dan to tell him she did a great job getting on the school bus. I then drove over to the school to get pics of her getting off her bus and pics of her with her friends and teacher. The reason I didn't drive her to school was because I wanted her to get used to taking the bus. I didn't want to drive her and then have her expect me to drive her everyday. Joshua missed Kara. He kept asking where she was and telling me he wanted to ride on the school bus. When Kara got home from school she told me she had a great day. She also keeps telling me she wants to go to school 5 days a week instead of 3! I am so happy she likes school!

She did great! She loved it! She got on the bus and I drove and met her at the school. When she got home she kept saying "I wish I could go to school tomorrow" She only goes Mon, Wed, Fri. She is also sad she doesn't have school this Friday b/c of Labor day.

The first one is my favorite! I'm glad her day went smooth. She looks happy! Tell her Granny is very proud of her cause, when i was her age, I cried!

So here is my question did you follow the bus to school to take more photos? I thought she was riding a bus and then we see more photos.

awwww! I can't believe Kara is in school. I love her backpack too! How are you doing though? Was it hard to let her go? I'm going to cry my eyes out.
